Mal Lawal 3 Cars Exhibition
The classic cars edition, ‘Mal Lawal 3 Cars’ exhibition is underway at the National Museum of Qatar (NMoQ).
Mal Lawal is a unique platform that celebrates collecting and bringing together private collectors from Qatar to showcase their collectibles.
The exhibition features a selection of cars from two established local car collectors until August 2021. Every three months the displayed cars will be changed.
Visiting hours:
Saturday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Friday: 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm
The local passion for car collecting can be traced in Qatar upon the arrival of the first shipments of cars back in the mid-1950s. Back in the time, cars were mainly imported and acquired with the intent to facilitate everyday life activities.
People in Qatar collect cars, among other reasons, to document and preserve pivotal moments in the nation’s social history, evoke a sense of nostalgia, and establish a collection of exclusive classic cars.
