Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) is hosting the International Hunting and Falcons Exhibitions from September 7 to 11 this year.

The highly anticipated event aims to promote the hobby of hunting, in addition to showcasing Qatar’s rich Arab heritage.

Katara is committed to altering its worldwide message by drawing participants from many nations around the world to this Exhibition, as well as addressing the demands of Qatari falconers and hunters so that they can enjoy their sport in the most luxurious manner possible.

Being held at the Katara Cultural Village, hunting-related ancient artifacts from different countries will be showcased during the event.

The Organizing Committee agreed to call the Exhibition "Sohail" (Canopus), which is a star that has long been associated with hunting.

Year after year, hunters look forward to Sohail because it signals the start of overlanding expeditions, hunting, and falconry when the temperature begins to drop gradually and falconers prepare all of their hunting things and equipment for the following season.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only fully vaccinated exhibitors and international visitors will be allowed to enter Qatar and exhibit.

You must have a proper vaccination certificate with you at all times. As a result, you must receive the full dose of the recommended vaccines as soon as possible.

For more information on the exhibition, kindly visit Katara's website.
