I'm going to be heading over to Doha, to attend Georgetown, but i have no idea how the dorms in Education City are like. Could anyone let me know what to expect, in regards space, set up of the rooms, and how many people to a room? Also do you have any idea if i can bring a small pet with me?

Welcome to Education City ;)

Concerning the dorms, hmmm, I'm not so sure about em, Im not an international students, but I know a few guys there, they say the edu city dorms are like the best, I know this guy, he's been to three colleges before, one in the UK, george mason in UAE, a third in Canada, he been to all the dorms, and he says that edu city's is the best, from what I've heard, pets aren't allowed, but its not like a life-death rule, I know people who have their pets, of course they sneak it every while, but other than that, its ok, and concerning how many roommates, it goes from 1 up to 4 with u, I'd say all from the same gender, its equipped with a wireless network, tvs, phones, and all the cool stuff, as my fellow here, an apartement, its really cool, and there is also facebook groups for education city freshmen students, there is a group for Texas A&M students, and another for the whole education city (I'm in Texas A&M)

Feel free to join and try to figure out what u want, I'm sure that others could help u more than I did ;)

Good luck :)

dont worry about the dorm rooms...they are like 5 star hotel's suite...its like an apartment with 2 rooms, 2 bath and a common room (some even have 3 rooms) and usually 2 persons in a room...but the rooms are huge enough....welcome to Education City :D..

I'm almost 100% sure that you can't bring your pet with you, although it depend what kind of per it is. A dog or cat is not possible, not only here, but any kind of dorm, but maybe a hamster is possible.

About dorm rooms I have no idea, but maybe someone will come and tell you.
