Doha College! Ridiculous!

I have read that the admissions for 2015-2016 September are beginning on the 17th of November and I am interested in registering my kid for KG1. But now, I probably wont even be able to due to the Following: "Please note that Doha College has made a few changes to the Pre School and Reception (Early Years Foundation Stage ) application process. The Pre School and Reception application package will now consist of the following documents : General Doha College Application Form Early Years Application Form (a Doha College produced nursery report that parents will get nurseries to complete) " ( Taken from the admissions website) Further it says: "Applications submitted without the completed Doha College Early Years Application Form will not be accepted nor considered." Meaning that these reports are compulsory. Which if I am not wrong means that my 2+ kid must have joined a nursery before joining school. Can someone please explain to me, When will my 2 year old ever BE a 2 year old if I have to start her schooling from 2years? Seriously, how ridiculous is this?!!! Putting so much pressure on parents and Children from such a stage. I honestly did consider putting my kid into nursery in September but after a discussion me and my husband decided against it. All we could do is think, why should such a young child be put under pressure from such a young age? They study all their lives and even now they want education from before they even start anything. What is this world coming to? Can one not keep their kids at home with themselves for the beginning few years of their lives? Are parents really considered incapable of assessing and taking care of their children that schools now want nurseries to confirm that a certain child can behave well and is normal? Why are we all being forced to push our kids out of the house from such a young age? Is this fair? Has competition increased soo much? Whats next? They all ask for babies to be born with degrees? 3 years is still young. Back home we start schooling from 4 years but 3 years is too much of young age in it self and now having such requirements from before 3 years.....This is honestly the absurd thing that I have come by till yet. Shame on such schools!

I am just disappointed honestly. This is just too much pressure on Parents and kids. 3 years is too early!

I'm sorry to say that education has now become a lucrative business every where. So no compromises in business ethics, think again and decide the best. Bes of luck.
