Can anyone recommend a place in Doha where i can find computer supplies (other than the meek Jarir) such as wireless routers, wireless adapters and other networking tools?

Try the shopping plaza at Mercure Grand Hotel (previously known as Sofitel Hotel). Its very close the to Panasonic Showroom at the Center of the city.

Shop name : City Center Electronics.
