Where to have "natural look" makeup done?
Ladies (and gents, I suppose, if you have something to say) --
A friend of mine is getting married in Doha. As a gift I'm thinking of giving her a salon gift certificate to have her makeup done on the big day.
She has a very natural look, let's say like Jennifer Aniston, and the wedding itself will be small and simple.
Can anyone recommend a salon that can go along with this style? She is a Filipina and will probably feel more at ease communicating with Filipino stylists -- but I am open to any suggestions if you know of a place that can make her feel special and comfortable. :)
My wife uses glow american....
They have website and fb page. One store on salwa rd, one in west bay.
They specialize in makeup and hair for weddings.
well, if she looks like Jennifer Aniston, apparently she doesn't need anything other than a brest implant.

The natural look make up is one that doesn't look over done specially on the facial skin...the good make up enhance your features and brings a healthy glow on your skin not the artificial coating.
I've never seen any bride here with a quality makeup...
So I suggest you to send her for only eye makeup and hairdo for bridal make up to any recommended parlor and for the face, tell them for party makeup only.
hi yag sorry i wasnt being patronising I was just saying. I totally understand about the make up indoors thing. its just that i have read so much about women thinking they need so much make up particularly to think that they need it to look good.

I was very pleased. You must explain them what you want otherwise they might get into a bit too heavy make up> Bring a picture of the dress you will wear and they might coordinate the colours. They are very busy, must call for appointment.
Filipina owned salon. You can ask for Morrocan bath with massage, facial, to pamper her and they do also make up... all staffs are Filipina.

Precisely why I'm looking for someone who won't cake my dear friend in 20 layers of powder. An expert would know how to enhance, not cover. It will make for better photos (indoor fluorescent light is unforgiving!).
And it's just a fun treat for a girl to be pampered and looked after on her special day. So I'd like to give her that option. :)
Camelia, did you have your makeup done at Mac before? I have heard mixed opinions about them...What was your experience?

Btw, it's not entirely impossible for a Filipina to look like Jen Aniston.
if she is natural then why bother with make up. when we got married my wife had bit of lipstick on that was it. It was a beautiful day! reminisce.. oh yeh where was I if we had got married in a hot country by a beach or something there wouldnt be any make-up. If she does not wear make up normally then don't bother. just give her the vouchers then she can make the choice. Make-up hides a million insecurities reply in earnest
