Where to buy LCD TV ?

I know that Carrefour, Jumbo and Emaz carry all sorts of LCD flat screen TVs of all sizes, but which is best? where can I get a good discount? any shop has any offers these days? is it good to buy now or wait till the end of year? so many questions for a low budget holder. help please
The best quality of LCD means the sharpness of the picture and the (colour) contrast ratio (higher the better).
1080 Hd is the latest, so if you opt for it you usually get best technology eg best response time, contrast ratio, connectivity options, etc.
The different brands are just brands....check if they have a good service center just in case you have some problem later on.
