Hi guys

Just wanted to know that what cell phone you have now? and how happy you are with it???

Mobile phones:

- a cheap Nokia phone (I forgot the model)

- Sony Ericsson K700i

Smartphones:

- Nokia E61 (just sold to a fellow QLer after posting in QL Classifieds)

- Palm Treo 680 (my main phone)

- Nokia E71 (my roaming phone, latest purchase)

- Apple iPhone 3G (coming soon when Vodafone Qatar releases it)

I just love my phones 'cause I really know how and where to use it for. Before purchasing any phone or any other gadget for that matter, I always read reviews from techie people I know and evaluate if this device is for me. Another big factor I consider is Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard compatibility (especially with iSync).

Don't be slaves of your gadgets, these are just material/worldly things.

Happy weekend! =)

The conclusion is as long as the cellphone is featured with Wifi, we can install most of those free telephony softwares.

Thanks a lot. It helps since calling abroad is outrageously expensive without those web-based softwares.

Please anybody advise how much it costs for E90 Communicator in Doha? Where can I get it?

Does it suppport VoIP? Can I install Skype in it?  I noted the Wifi should be cool as connection for calling abroad through VoIP or Skype

Hmmm, well just washed my old Nokia 6610-with bleach even-and then put it through the dryer for 70 minutes.  It didn't survive, so think I'll send a nasty letter of complaint to  Nokia about their inferior products.

No, have a two day old Nokia 3110c and am very happy with it.  Don't like the texting menu as much as on the old phone, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Anyone know of a way to transfer the personalised dictionary from one phone to another?  Is a shame to re-enter all of those-usually rude-words that one spends so much time entering... ;-)

Excellent, i give both fones 9.5/10.

I deducted half a point because they both dont have flash equipped cameras...
