Rabbits are cheap pets, but they require a lot of love and affection. please see the above site for bunnies to adopt or just to learn how to care for a bunny

How much could be when I buy pair of rabbits?

By TheBlueJay• 9 Nov 2011 15:26
TheBlueJay

If you still need a rabbit go to doha park because they have a variety of colours plus one rabbit is only 35 QR. But, go quick because it's going to close in about 2 days.

But Rabbits are good for one thing. They make for good stories for children. I had several Bunny Rabbit stories when I was small.

Also Bugs bunny is nice to watch on TV.

You cannot make a yarmulke with Rabbit fur. Rabbit fur is cheap! It's not exactly sable or ermine or mink or even a silver fox.

The meat is too hot for human consumption! That might be the reason for their excessive romping around all the time with their partners!

They breed faster than the Indians....but thats normal.

They breed even faster than the Bangladeshis!

melonhead, so do some people in china.

I personally find mutton yukkkkk.

A rabbit is good. You can skin it and use its fur and eat the meat.

It is a useful animal.

Cats were worshipped by ancient Egyptians and they used to keep a cat when they sailed into the high seas to bring them luck. It was a symbol of good fortune for the ancient Egyptians.

Noone worships Rabbit.

So Cat wins.

Pilgram - Cats are the worst. They poop and hide it under the pillow.

By edifis• 28 Mar 2011 14:51
edifis

Yes,,agree with Pilgram. Rabbits are wild creatures. They are not supposed to be kept as pets. So they are best when left alone. If you keep them as pets they will poop everywhere.

By anonymous• 28 Mar 2011 14:43

I had a rabbit briefly (was actually left in my apartment by the previous owner) and they are horrible pets. They poop everywhere, they don't cuddle, they bite, they're boring. Get a cat if you want a no fuss pet.

LP stay on topic please. What does your last 2 posts have to do with the original topic?

Rabbits are nice cuddly creatures. But they are not good pets.

Yeah, you will need to purchase more rabbits in future to avoid incestion. The pet stores have an exchange policy on that, check with the stores.

Rabbits breed very fast. If you buy 2 it will become 100 in a matter of months. They are always having sex. And they if you buy 1 male & 1 female....soon their kids will be involved in incestuous relationships. Do you want such immoral activities in your home?

Please go to a pet store. NEVER buy anything from Souq Waqif. They don't know how to treat animals. Rabbits do not naturally come in pink, green or blue and to dye them such colours is just CRUEL.

If you are serious about owning a rabbit and will treat it well, please check with QAWS and any of the vets first. At least then you know you are getting a pet that has been well looked after and isn't full of disease.
