TCBY

The other day I went to buy a frozen yogurt from TCBY by the TV roundabout, and after I paid and headed to the door the cup fell on the ground and spelled all over.
I picked it up with some disappointment. and there was half of it still in the cup unspelled, there for I went to the cashier and asked for tissue to wipe the cup and enjoy the remaining of my ice-cream.

But the sales man decided to give me a new one free of charge.
I was embarrassed, thankful and glade at the same time.

And since then I buy their ice-cream more than before.

I thank you all for the wonderful commments about one of our Staff. Really appriciate it and welcome the points.

I have personally thanked him as well, and given him gratuity from my end personally.

In todays world its difficult staff that adhere to the policies of customer service and gestures of goodwill, and I am pleased to know off ones like Mr. Teklal, who adhere to them and practice them.

And in regards to the look of TCBY, we have a whole new team that is in the process of revamping the look of the stores and opening new locations from next year. Reasons why it was not done before, well lets just say that info is CLASSIFIED. :-)

Thank you for you partonage to our stores.

Regards

Since we're sharing, I was once in that party store in Villagio (opposite Carrefoure) and my neice bought a balloon for 60QR. Just as we went out, the balloon somehow untied itself from her wrist and flew away. The guy from the store immediately blew us up another one FREE OF CHARGE!

That was a 60QR balloon!

I find that, in general, the staff of TCBY and Baskin Robbins are really patient & courteous. They deal with bratty kids climbing over the counters, screaming at them for 10 flavors on one cone...and other annoying situations like that.

And yet they still have it in them to give away a free cup of ice cream if someone dropped theirs on the floor. :)

many thanks for the little comments that most everyone experiences here in Doha, but never post. Perhaps the next time you go back into TCBY, tip the young man who was so nice to you...I'm sure he would appreciate it just as you appreciated his being so generous!!

Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fortune to run into the ones I do,and the eyesight to tell the difference.
