Hi y'all - I read on one of the (dozens) of Qatar blogs recently that it was impossible to find good quality bedlinen and such in Doha? I'm just wanting 300+ count king size sheets & nice thick towels. Where can I go in Doha to buy such things? thanks in advance...
i always find it difficult to find the right size especially for my single beds. the sheets are always too short. does any one know a place where i can get good quality cloth so i can get them made to exact size, especially fitted ones.

Serendipity - Sizes vary here. You'll find UK and US and non standard sizes all mixed up at one location (be it Homes R Us or Home Centre).
Just recently I had a tough time fitting a fitted bedsheet on my standard US sized Queen bed (1.54 X 2.0 m). I think they are a bit undersized.
What size are the beds in Qatar?
I only know UK and Ikea sizes. Are they more like Ikea size beds? Or UK size beds?
I'm reluctant to buy stuff if I'm going to arrive and find they are too small.
Does anyone have the measurements of the beds before I buy new bed linen to bring with me?

There's a new store called "Dwell" opposite Carrefour in City Centre. From the the looks of it I think they do only beds / bed linen.
