My first post here. Can anyone suggest best deals on Seiko wristwatches in Doha. Also, good places to shop for clothes (straight ;-) male, mid twenties)

I was puzzled too, until I saw the calorie count listed on the menu. Don't remember the exact number, but it was ridiculously low (somewhere between 150 and 200). And, I believe this includes the calories from the (included) sidelines as well (pot. wedges, coleslaw, salad).
I popped into Mannai today at about 12:20 noon with a colleague. The saleswomen there (two filipina s) were getting ready to leave for their mid-day break. I was surprised when they switched off the lights right when we were inspecting a few watches and asked us to follow them out. It was 10 minutes till closing time. I was stunned and apalled at this behaviour. I would have hammered them for this, got the management involved etc. if it wasn't for my rumbling belly. Just walked out the door and into "the diet shop" (never been there before), had a decent lunch and went back to work. I'd recommend their beef burgers.
I was just joking with you I have had nothing but good luck with the Seiko's I have owned for 25+ years. They are very durable and take a beating. All you have to do is keep putting batteries in them.
Seiko deserves my absolute and undivided respect / admiration ;-) These guys have been at the helm of innovation when it comes to wristwatches. From the first quartz watch, to the first automatic, to watches that can sync with atomic clocks wirelessly, the list goes on.

The only competitive country is USA for SEIKO watches. I mean MANNAI selling with good prices. but anyhow, you may find better prices in EBAY
Sounds like the diet donut fiasco in the US a couple of years ago!
//"Keith,
Their price reasonable?"//
They're in line with US prices. About $500 for the Sportura range.

These people have very little initiative.
Their conditions, including living conditions, are poor so why should they work?
If you'd made a scene then they would've stayed.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I've just got a good deal for a Seiko Sportura on eBay and will go for it.

How is that saving money? Or do you mean start saving?
Breitlings are very nice but they'll cost easily 10 times the price of a Seiko.
I own a couple of Swiss watches but I have alot of respect for Seiko. And Casio for that matter.
Save your money and buy a swiss watch. Seikos are for saps....
Mannai are the dealers for Seiko. They're located on Salwa Road next to Starbucks.
