LOL baldrick....

Nokia E Series ( eg E71/72, E75, E52 ) phones are generally aimed at the business end users so tend to be aimed at people who want to message on the go, with support for email in particular.

N Series phones are aimed at the multimedia section of users, so will have higher specs, eg higher rated camera, TV Out, and more of an entertainment device.( eg N95, N96, N8 etc )

Both the E Series and N Series are generally considered 'Smart Phones'.

Blackberry came to the limelight a few years ago, again aimed mainly at communicating my email, but seem to developed a strong following who use their BlackBerry Messaging service ( BBM ). THis allows you to send messages to other BB users free of charge, globally. It requires data connection so depends on using the internet connection on your BB. Hugely popular with the youth.

iPhones. Again, classed as a smartphone, and the rest is history really.
