Looking for good coffee place for meetings
By Expat Sueño •
I am setting up a couple of casual "meetups" for mums in Doha, that will occur on a regular schedule - e.g. first Monday of the month at "x" location, 2nd Tuesday at "y" location, etc.
I'd like to have them at coffee places / cafés around Doha. The parking must be relatively easy, and the places needs to be large enough for 10-15 women to find seats together fairly easily (or push seats/tables together). I'd like to have several locations around town so that no one has to "travel" every single time.
One idea that I thought of was the café inside The One in Landmark Mall. Anyone have any other suggestions for me?
Thanks,

I should have mentioned that I'm looking for non-smoking places. Yesterday I walked into the Costa Coffee that is adjacent to MegaMart and nearly tossed my breakfast because of the cigarette smoke, despite the "smoking area" being completely enclosed in a bubble (ceiling to floor, wall to wall) by a glass partition.
Expectant mums, in particular, can be sensitive to cigarette smoke, so I want to make sure I "take care" of them :o)
Thanks,

how about talking to some coffee shops' supervisors telling them that u r organizing these gatherings??? they might give u some deals i guess ...
silver cafe is a nice and normally not crowded place .. large enough ..
Cofee Beanery just in front of Ramada.
Its a nice place and I have never seen it crowded.
Havent been in Eli France, but it looks very nice from outside. As madilulur advices it could be a nice place.
War looking for peace,
is like fornication looking for virginity.
I like the menu at Eli France near the Ramada junction. We had a QAWS event there in the summer.
Mandi
'Silver Cafe' behind Al Sadd Stadium, close to the American School of Doha, Al Waab area.
Souq Wakif has a few cafes...
Nothing remains the same, and everything will change at some point.
