Hi,

I seriously need help....I bought and made paintings to hang in my apartment but my problem is I cant find a good driller apart from the ones at carrefour...and the plastic tucker that you put after you drilled....is there really a hardware in Doha? like ace or home depot?

and I need some mahogany paint for some scratches on my furniture...

thanks

from Markiya, would take you around QR15-20 by metered taxi... depending which route the driver gonna take... :D if you would take by Karwa.... majority of them knew about the place... upon reaching the QNB mushaireb branch... then just roam around and youll find chains of hardware shops...

Note: there's a green roof mosque at the corner of Arab Round about... next to Al Diwan State Mosque Building.

Awesome!

So basically I will just ask the cab driver to take me to the Arab Roundabout where there are hardwares?

Its sad that there is no proper hardware..

I hope I can call someone to do the job for me...

Thanks

Arab round about is the round about down in the souqs that has the boat (dhow) in the middle of it. Basically at the end of Mushereib street. Which is the street that Salwa Rd. turns into after Jaidah flyover. There are a bunch of hardware stores nearby.

Hi,

thanks!

is there anything near my apartment at Markhia...or not?

By ollie• 11 Apr 2009 15:01
ollie

yeah...

I thought of doing everything thru ebay and boycott the malls since there is nothing to buy elsewhere...

Maybe I should borrow a driller from you and I'll rent it...

You need to go to Najma. From Airport take C Ring. At first signal turn right. Cross roundabout and here is all the hardware you'll ever need.

Alternatively, buy it from eBay ;o) (only kidding!)

No there is no ACE here but go to Salwa Road and visit GULF INCON Or Anton NEHME on the same road.
