With the consumers’ growing appetite for fashion, new age entertainment, and choicest of global cuisine, Al Mana Malls unveiled plans for the wonderful opening of Doha Mall in February 2020.

The only Super-regional mall in the Southern part of Doha is built on a plot of 125,000m2 with a total of 270,000m2 built up area to produce around 100,000m2 of gross leasable area (GLA).

Doha Mall comprises a combination of targeted retailers over three level and offers 3,500 parking spaces.

Strategically located in Abu Hamour, Doha Mall makes it one of the most highly accessible shopping and entertainment destination. It is 2 minutes away from Doha Express Road on the intersection of F-ring and Wholesale Street, and 10 minutes from Hamad International Airport.

Qatar Rail Metro station can be easily accessed within the mall vicinity. Doha Mall will also be catering the needs of 25% of Qatar population which resides within 5km radius of Doha Mall. Once opened, Doha Mall expects footfall of over 1,000,000 visitors each month, owing to its location.

Giving details about the upcoming mall at a press conference, Rony Mourani, General Manager of Al Mana Malls, said, “We take pride in presenting this state-of-the-art shopping paradise to the people of Qatar. The decision of bringing this Mall to light was more than a strategic one as we felt a great void for choicest shopping destination with an all-encompassing experience for the family and that idea planted the seeds of Doha Mall in this most opportune location. We are confident that the moment Doha Mall sees its official launch, it will be the most preferred mall for Qataris and expats in Doha boasting of many innovative never seen before features.”

Mourani further said Doha Mall, which has a project cost of over QR1.5 Billion, highlights Qatar status as “an extremely attractive market” for both local and international investors, and upon its opening, this new splendid property will easily establish its position on a regional level being a premium tourist attraction and locally as the ultimate leisure and entertainment destination.
“We believe the retail sector will retain its strength and we perceive a positive forecast for 2020 and beyond. The Qatar National Vision 2030 was at the heart of our strategy and planning ever since the Doha Mall was still on the drawing board. Right from the inception stage of Doha Mall we have been working closely with the authorities to ensure we are aligned with the country’s term strategy to diversify the economy and support the tourism industry,” he added.

Appreciating the government’s thrust on enhancing infrastructure, Mourani said, “Qatar is an ever-growing market, thanks to the huge investment the government is undertaking on infrastructure projects, and we are proud be play a modest role in contributing to this growth.

The Doha Mall will be home to more than 250 retail stores, with over 14 anchor stores, a new FLiK cinemas concept, 10 cinema screens, world-class bowling center, high-tech family entertainment center, trampoline & adventure park for children, a wide range of dining options with more than 60 food and beverage units as well as well-lit ambience with natural sky light; making it a one-stop-shop destination.
