Hi,

I want to transfer the Istimara to the buyer - What is the procedure?

My car was purchased on Feb 2009 (2008 Model)
I have only Third Party Insurance.

Please advice,
1. Do i need to go again for a technical test? Based on Car Purchase date - still the car is less than 3 years but my model - it is! So, if i have to go - what's the best time and where to get it done?

2. What is the office timing of the Traffic dept to get the Istimara transferred?

3. Since its third party insurance - I guess no need to worry about insurance name change - Please correct me, if i'm wrong!!

Please advice....

go to traffic Department in Madinat khalifa both. Bring your ID (pataca) and get a copy of transfer paper type in arabic (there are people doing it outside of the traffic dept.)when its done submit the papers to the authorized person handling it and its done. (note: this is only applicable if your car has no bank obligation)
