Honda CR-V resale value

Hello All,

I am planning to upgrade my vehicle. I have visited few dealers and fell in love with the Honda CR-V 2015 model. I am planning to buy a brand new EX model and would need your valuable feedback on the resale value.

You know all of us are here for a purpose which is to collect as much as possible while living a decent life. So when you buy a vehicle ideally you need to buy something with a good resale value.

How do you guys feel about the Honda CRV? Is it a good vehicle to use? how about the resale value? Do you guys think it's quickly disposable? Any feedback on after sales service?

Appreciate you opinion on the same.

Thanks.

Thinking for resale then Better go with Toyata only.....not even Nissan don't have good market now.

For enjoy to drive with full option then go with New car - Like Honda CRV, Hyundai Tucson, Santa fee, Pajero.....FUll option with reliable n reasonable price......but spares very costly for Honda.

Pajero is much better than CRV, get a used one as per jaysonpeter mentioned, decent pajero with full options go for 70K to 85K, 2013 or 2014 models. Pajero comes with V6 3.5L or 3.8L depending on the option.

If I were you, I would choose a 2014 or 2015 pre-owned car with less mileage as a new car starts depreciating the moment its out of the showroom. I have owned CRV and would say its a fairly reliable vehicle but keep in mind the spares are expensive (had to change front shock absorber once, had to fork out nearly 2000 Qar with labor just for one side).

Look into the Toyota Rav4 as it is similar car with a similar price, but has better resale value and cheaper to maintain.
