Working as a contractor/consultant
I'm working in a consulting company in UK but have a project here in Doha. They provide a working visa for myself thru a sponsor here in Qatar. Now i got my RP. I need to know if my contract between the consulting company and myself is valid here in Qatar labor laws. Herewith some questions i need to clarify:
1) What's the agreement between the consulting company and the sponsor in Qatar in hiring their workers in issuing a visa?
2) Since i'm working as a contractor/consultant in Qatar, am i entitled in labor laws here?
3)My contract between the consulting company is renewable every 6months, What's the chances of getting an NOC from my sponsor? Let say, i can find a good company to work with.

Qatar labor law will always supercede what's written in your contract. An NOC is always anyone's guess. More often than not it isn't given.
