work visas for over 60's

Is it possible for anyone over 60 to get a work visa? ie if they applied for a job here, would it be possible??

come to think of it... its nightmare to get a one month VISIT visa for anyone above 60 years of age... and we are talking about work visa???? i am bit skeptical, sorry.

I was told that if a prospective employee was really wanted for the job and was suitably qualified there are ways and means...we have employees that are newly employed and over 60 but I just wondered what the real story is?

... you can't get a visa if you apply for a job and are over 60. If you have a contract running and you turn 60 during that contract you can stay until it is finished. I know that because we tried to get a friend of ours to work in a GCC country who was 60 already and he was turned down due to that reason :(

agree with you certified, age doesn't matter as long as they're capable of doing the job.

Please people, try to be of help to the queries of the author, if you don't have anything helpful to say then better to shat up so not to waste the bandwidth.

Not all 60's are incapable....they have the wisdom and experience.....
