Seem's you and your son arrived in doha by visit visa which is valid for 6 months. Any one who has a valid RP can apply for his family for an RP too. Since you are in the process of finger printing right now, your wife is eligible to apply for your son or you can once your RP has been stamped on your passport.

So, dont worry you have enough time till december 2007. Before it you can be an RP holder too. FYI. I know a women who works in HAMAD sponsored his son. So, you can go ahead and consult your PRO usually called MANDOUP in your office for further requirements.

Sadik Tell me, My wife is working now in Hamad since February this year. My son and me arrived here in Doha last June 10. I have now my work and very enough to support my son as his sponsor. but, currently i am on the process for fingerprinting.

Question No. 1.) is it too late to get my son's visa under me?

2.) is it possible that my wife will do as my son's sponsor?

3.) my son's visa will expire on December 10, 2007 as his 6th month. can that be renewable without going out of Doha?

I will appreciate your comment and suggestion based on your personal the same experience....

Kabayan,

Ervin

Hi buddy,

Good day & hope you are doing well. Yes you are holding a valid resident permit visa. The RP has now been renamed to WORK VISIT VISA since a couple of years.

Dont worry, it is extendable as every RP does.

its a employment visa only. dont worry . you will be going to the same process i.e. medical, fingerprint etc, you will get Qatari ID also.

Dont get confused. My case is also same like you.
