Work Visa issuance steps

Hi everybody

Could you please help me for following Qs. i need your help to let me know the procedures of issuing Work Visa:

1 - what are the General steps to be taken in Immigration office to issue the visa .. i.e: now my employer is telling me that the visa is under process at Security Department of immigration office. so what will be then after Security department.?

2 - after which stage my visa will be ready.?

really i need you appreciated answers.

i am not in Qatar now.

every time i call my employer he is telling me that they are checking regularly with immigration and would call me when it will be issued. the employer is Government entity.

may the reason of that delay be because employer is Government entity.?

also employer told me the expected period for visa issuance is six weeks. it is now 10 (ten) weeks and nothing till now

another Q:

what is next after Security check .???????????????

usually work visa doesn't take more 3 days-1 week.. but in some cases if there is some complications, it might take long. then nobody knows when it will be issued.. in some cases the visa might be even refused. So all you can do is just to wait...
