By qquery2015 •
Hi All,
My wife currently employed and sponsored with Work VISA. Is keeping her visa status under Work visa or under my sponsor (husband), which one is better.
Please tell me benefits of changing her visa under my sponsor
Please tell me if company will not provide NOC for visa status change, what could be reasons.
Thanks.

The issuance or non issuance of NOC is totally in the hands of the employers as of now. Some months back rumors were circulating that this rule would be changed by the government but nothing new has come forward so far. If her employer refuses her NOC, there is nothing much you can do about it.
@qquery - as per my personal experience, there wasn't any minimum period to stay outside the country. I was back in Doha a week after I exited. My husband applied a family visit visa for me first and when I was already in Doha that was the time he applied for my family visa. Please do not think that this is an easy process and make sure you are really eligible to sponsor your wife.
Keep our lives simple & easy , where would we go by being more clever than others ........... ?
Thanks all. @ chameleon : you said " If her company will not provide NOC for her to transfer to your sponsorship, tell her to resign, cancel her visa, exit the country and come back under your sponsorship" . Is this details include any ban for entering again to the country as minimum period ??
in other case, is there any possibility of employer can deny to provide NOC for her to trasfer under my sponsorship.
Please reply
If one puts his wife through tough tests like that how would she be able to manage kids & kitchen ? .................................................
Qquery, Every status has got its own advantages and disadvantages. On husband sponsorship there is visa security, option for changing jobs frequently plus freedom (all same as in your country), but it will cost you money for which reason you are here. On company sponsorship if you are lucky even in a mediocre company (not excellent) then the visa/medical expenses is taken care of, tickets are provided and benefits as per the labor law are taken care of. So you can weigh your options and decide yourself.
Yes, make sure you are capable for issuing RP for your wife, same what happened to us but good thing I did not exit, we applied for Husband Sponsorship, my company provide NOC, when we pass the application, we are rejected.
Chameleon is absolutely right. However, there is a small risk involved. You must be sure of being able to get a family visa for her after she exits the country. There always exists a possibility of the application getting rejected for one reason or another.
Being husband sponsored is definitely better. You get to change jobs anytime you want without NOC plus you don't need an exit permit going out of the country. If her company will not provide NOC for her to transfer to your sponsorship, tell her to resign, cancel her visa, exit the country and come back under your sponsorship.
