Work Permit WITH NOC

Last question from me. What I need to know from you fellow Qlers is the following:

Have you ever heard of a Work Visa being rejected to a European citizen (home country is one of the 33 which can get Tourist Visa on arrival) who HAS NOC (issued 1 month ago)?

To remind you of my story:
- European female Engineer
- UK accredited degree
- Entered Qatar on Work Permit in 2011 (issued in just a week). Worked in a prominent project for 6 months
- Got RP very quickly, with no issues.
- Resigned from company under the best of terms (didn't ask for NOC then because I didn't need it at the time)
- Cancelled residency and left the country immediately.
- No loans, no credit cards, not even a traffic ticket while I was there (accommodation + car from company, so no bills either)
- Came back to Qatar in May 2012 for a conference with ON ARRIVAL Tourist Visa. No problems there either. Left in 7 days.
- Got offer 1.5 month ago, requested NOC from previous company, got it straight away.
- New company (big multinational) applied for Business Visa and got rejected to my great surprise for unknown reasons!
- New company eventually received the female quota for my nationality and now is applying for Work Permit.
- 2 year ban ends in September... but I have a valid NOC (just 1 month old, because I heard it's not valid after 6 months)!
- New company checked everything and said documents are ok.

After the randomness of the Business Visa rejection I am a bit worried, although I know that my case shouldn't be rejected... not for any logical reason at least. Do any of you people see anything in my story that could cause the rejection of my visa? Even the slightest thing? Can you think of any reasons that I cannot think of?

Responses will be highly appreciated.

Azilana see comment above ^^^ and you will understand what I mean...

I prefer my thread to be ignored than being used for irrelevant reasons. This is not a game.

Thank you for your answer though (Seasons' too). The COP18 sheds some light on why the Business Visa was rejected as it was applied the week before the conference started. I am pretty sure my nationality has nothing to do with it... Excess of Business Visas applications for the Conference is more plausible for a reason. Re-applying for B.V. is done after 3 months so no it is NOT fine as Zoheir insists.

As I am currently waiting for the Work Visa to go through I want to make sure all is done correctly. That is what my question is about and not about re-applying.

As of to date, there are blocks and bans on certain nationalities and we only assume that it got something to do with the COP18 Conference.

I agree with ZOUHEIR...you need not to be snotty and suspicious about people commenting on this topic.

At least you get answers instead of your post slipping down the page with no answers/ignored.

Can the Moderators please delete this thread?

Apparently I am not going to get any relative answers here and I don't want it to be used for people to chat with each other or promote their dodgy business (see other threads with visa "pro"services comments.

Thank you for your prompt action

If all your documents are in order you should'nt worry.. The only reason for rejection is if your age is above 50, if not need not worry..

My nationality never had an issue in obtaining a Work Visa (not that I have heard of anyway). 99% no documents are missing and the application is done correctly.

Finally, do these two rules apply?

Business Visa rejected: 3 months before re-applying again with any other company (Immigration don't give reason about the rejection)

Work Visa rejected: 6 months before re-applying again with any other company (Immigration give reason about the rejection upon manual submittal of the documents and meeting for reverting the initial decision)

there might be some documents missing,

anyway the only person who can answer your question is the PRO of the company who applied for your visa.

or you can ask them to apply once again, got rejected doesn't mean you have been blocked for good. you can reapply.

sometimes but most of the times especially ATM most of the people from different nationality are being rejected for no reason or their visa delayed for few months.

I suggest you once again to ask your PRO to reapply.
