Woman Sponsoring Husband

Hi,

I wanted to know if a woman teacher can sponsor her husband in Qatar. Being a public servant though working for an affiliated school what are the minimum requirements. As in Dubai teachers & Nurses can sponsor their husbands with a minimum salary of 3-4k depending if their employer provides accommodation or not respectively. Looking for prompt and valuable advice to help a family.

Regards

Mr. Pinto,

If the wife wants to sponsor her husband, means she's not Qatari, right? means she works for private school, am I right? Here every one working for private's not called public servants, eventhough her work does.

This is the life here in Qatar. Our family friend, a gentlemen with good job, with good salary, still got his application for family visa, refused.

See, it's depend on your luck I believe, so go for it. Then you will see the result.

forget about it...

it's not only about salary, not at all.. each case is processed individually. I would say there are no any common "minimum" or even "maximum" requirements.. very few women could sponsor their husbands so far.. should be very high senior position (but even in this case not guaranteed), some other factors are playing certain role as well..

Women can sponsor their spouse & kids. But, the salary range is around QR 7000-7500/month.
