Hi,
I am living in Doha now 4 months. Im planning to resign when I complete a year with my current company, I am wondering if I can get family or wife visa after work permit because my husband still working in Doha. What document I would need and how long it will take to get this visa? Does my husband have to request to the goverment by himself or his company have to provide this service? and also if I am allow to work under this visa type? Cause I know someone who working under wife visa as well.

Thank you so so much

your husband can ask if his company can help, but it's really up to his company (either way - you will have to pay for it).

I can't remember the minimum for husband sponsorship, I think it is about 7,500 - but government can be inconsistent with applying this minimum. Most likely they will still ask for NOC from the company to transfer your sponsorship.

Im now under my company sponsorship (Work Permit). But Im wondering if I resign from my current company am I able to work thru a wife visa? Also if I need a wife visa : my husband need to request his company to do the process for the visa right or he can contact the government to do the visa by his own? and I heard that the minimum salary that the husband have to earn is 7000 rials?

the immigration rules here change all the time - and each case is treated... well... depends on the officer processing your case and his / her mood.

But in general, you can change your visa to husband's sponsorship. For any changes of sponsorship an NOC letter from previous sponsor and police clearance is required. Of course, your husband's salary has to meet the required level at the time when you're appying.

satisfies the requirements set for sponsoring wife, yes, your current working visa could be canceled and your husband can sponsor you. Ask your husband's company mandoob do the paperworks if posible as the mandoob knows all the requirements as set by the concerned government authorities!

Your query is a bit confusing. First,What is your status in Doha? Are you under company sponsorship or husband sponsorship? If you resign from the company how can you apply for a wife visa when your husband is already here in Doha? If you're under husband sponsorship then you are his dependent. Dependents are not allowed to apply wife/husband visa etc.
