Wife exit visa

I am getting conflicting advice about the need for my wife to have an exit permit to go back to the UK for a short while.

I have sponsored her and my employer tells me she doesn't need an exit visa, but other people are telling me that she does...

Can anyone answer this or knows the website for immigration?

Thanks

Hukoomi website is - www.gov.qa.

My husband was also advised by his office that we (me & my son) don't need exit permit when going to Bahrain without him.

I am also under my husband's sponsorship. Whenever I travel to Bahrain with my son, I make sure that my husband is with us at the check in counter because the airline staff will ask so many questions. Our usual procedure is like this: they will take my husband's Qatar ID, call their supervisor or manager, I tell them that I've travelled before (like 7 times) without my husband (my sponsor), they will ask which airline we flew, and after discussing with his staff for a few minutes, they will take a photocopy of my husband's ID and they will let us go. It takes less than 10 minutes if the supervisor is around. BUT this is MY experience, and we always go to Bahrain. I don't know if its the same thing going to UK.
