Is it true that once you are out of Qatar for more than 6 months your existing residence visas will be invalid even if your visas will expire on 2012?

it will not be cancelled if it is still valid. you need to get a new entry visa from your sponsor so that you can come back here.

Hi there!! as per the new law...you can stay outside qatar more than 6 months as long as you informed the concerned authorities for your plans. at the same time your RP must still be valid for 6 months or less before you enter Qatar.....

I will just check that law and get back to you later...but I think you can still come back as long as your RP is valid..
