what are the procedures to get married with a qatary men who works in the army , he is about 40 years old and his family agrees as long as he gets the aproval ?

A Qatari friend of mine (CID) married a German girl. He factually had to leave the country not be killed by his fellow CID guys. He only returned after seven years and is married to a Qatari woman now. No way will it work with people involved in military or similar government institutions.
From my understanding, he can get married to anyone he wants but it won't be an offical marriage in Qatar. In other words, military personel are not allowed to marry outside of the Gulf countries. However, some do marry outside the Gulf but that wife will not be able to get Qatari nationality, nor will the children. It could be a perfectly legitimate marriage by, lets say, British or American law but he would have to get SPECIAL permission before it would be offical here in Qatar. I am only speaking from what I have been told from serveral high ranking officers and close friends of almost a decade. Allah knows best. Hope this helps. Wish you all the best.
