i just want to know what is the egyptian quota ? as i am egyptian and i received an offer letter from qatar and it has been 1 week now and i didn't get my visa yet, and some one told me that if the company has egyptian quota it will not take time and if not, they have to make the quota first then they will be able to issue you the visa, is that true?

First of all, even if you got an offer 1 week ago, it doesnt mean that PRO of the company rushed to the immigration dept to apply for your visa on the very next day. It might happen that they still didn't even apply for your visa. Second, even if they did apply for the visa it might take 2 to 3 weeks to get the visa issued. Third , there is no such thing like " Egyptian" quota. There is a quota of visas for each company for nationality+position. So if your company doesn't have a quota for egyptian + your position, they have to apply for it. Approval of it might take itself few weeks, then your work visa issuance will come into the picture. So my advice is get some more patience, and get ready to wait ....
