What is a CID Report for Qatar
I want to know what is this CID report? I have been working in UAE, Bahrain and Oman and now I have a offer in Qatar and am waiting for my visas. Does the CID in Qatar obtain CID clearence from these other countries and will they then approve my visa? I dont know the process,so could someone please explain it?
i cleared everything to you right. well hmm no it will not affect. but u do need to clear that b4 the ministry of interior and financial unit starts lookin for you.

i had some unsettled credit cards in UAE, will taht affect my finger printing here in qatar?
CID may also have regard to other factors that change internally in qatar-
- nationality quotas
- whether the job applied could be done locally and whether the company has tested that market first
- whether the company is over recruitng in certain nationalities
- sensitive nationality profiles where there is a risk of terrorism
Don't be surprised if the rules change half way through processing or that they vary depending on the office that is doing the check. A lot is just simply mysterious and the report just says yes or no.
But most often if the at source police check is ok and you don't have a previous record from Qatar you wil be fine.

CID report is just the same as Police Clearance. The question is where is your present residence now? If you are currently residing in India you will just need a Police Clearance from Indian Police. It will not take a long time to ask for a Police Clearance therefore your visa will not be delay unless you have a pending cases or they take a weeks to process your clearance.
you have been to those gulf countries right? are you workin in one of them right now?? if yes get it from there wont take you any time just go take ur passport and ask them to issue you a letter for Qatar immigration. if you are living and workin in india yea sure you can get that from india.

Will thge Police clearence Certificate from the indian Police do ...will hat be fine for the Qaar CID ppl to process the visas.
Just get a clearance certificate or document what ever from the police station. not all the countries the one you are residing in now and working in only.

i jus want to know do these guys check with each of these countries CID ,,,,,then that would take a long time for my visas to come in though there are no chrges against me in these countries allhamdulliha
they will check if there are charges against you like muder, rape , theft, bank robbery, and molesting child and of course no one ever sued you and any FIR.
if you were never involved in such cases and there is absolutely nothing in ur record.
