what are the requirements if you will come from thailand going to doha?

Thanks @ babesphil.. oo nga super complicated in phil., so many requirements.. but as per your experience, i think there will be no problem for my friend to enter qatar without going back to phil. i will tell her to do what you have instructed, i hope there will be no problem and she can enter doha safe and sound..

if she is in holiday in thailand, tell her to print her visa form MOI in english, buy ticket to doha. go to airport show passport and visa copy and check in. no problem. we flew from hongkong to here with my 4 yrs old son on visa printed from MOI qatar.

thanks josefa, my friend will enter qatar the first time. she will just visit thailand, and from there she would like to travel to here. her visa was sent to her by her employer here in qatar. she just wanted to confirm if she still need the stamp from qatar embassy in philippines or just she need the copy of the visa that was sent to her? so if not, she need not come back to philippines and go directly to doha then.. hope you can confirm it for us..

my apology, I now understand that your friend was only on a holiday(vacation)after year/s working in Qatar (held working visa). Of course, she can travel back from Thailand to Qatar without any worries and forget that stamp. (Visa stamping only for first timer worker coming to Qatar)

My friend is on vacation at Thailand now. She wanted to go directly from Thailand-Doha. She had a working visa from here in qatar.

Just to confirm if she can enter qatar directly or she needs to go back to manila? what about also this stamp from qatar embassy? if she will be coming from another country but not the philippines, will they still look for this stamp?

Your friend, while on vacation in Thailand got a working visa from Qatar and she wanted to come directly from Thailand to Qatar. If this is the case, she cannot come directly to Qatar, if her working permit visa from Qatar was not yet been stamped to her passport. She need to do the necessary documentary requirement,medical examination, etc as pre-requisite from her country of origin, before her working visa will be stamped to her passport by the Qatar embassy also from her country of origin. Better let your friend seek and advice from her embassy in Thailand. If it can be arranged from there then it will save her the trouble of going back to her country of origin.

What I understood from u is that she is coming to doha for 2 weeks as visit and she have a working visa here, right??

ok now there are things to consider for here ...

if thats a vald working visa she can enter doha directly any time she wants as long the vis is good... then after she enters she got 2 options:

a) to change it to residence .. it doesn`t take time usually like few days but she will go through some procedures and medical exams .. she can come back even if she travels out but she will need an exit prmit for her to leave ..

b)to exit without residence .. and i`m not sure if she needs exit pemit or not but mostly not..

regarding thailand .. as I know as she have visa for here she needs nothing from there to enter .. as it should be provided at the time she applied for visa ..
