Visa on arrival is 100 Riyals - hope that your hotel is in West West Bay... Closer to transportation, shopping mall.. etc..

UK nationals get a Visa on arrival, the cost should be around USD $125 (around QAR 580).

Minimum Taxi fare is Qrs. 25.00 one way from Airport but Qrs 10.00 for return journey. so depending on the distance to your hotel. Keep atleast Qrs.50.00 within City limits.

Our weekends in Qatar and the whole ME are Thursday Friday or Friday Saturday Compared to Saturday Sunday in the rest of the world.

Taxi as said, shopping limited to probably City Center for you depending on your length of stay..

Enjoyyy ur stay :)

Cheers!!!!!!

if you tell us the hotel we might be able to estimate a cost

google based on your nationality if you have a visa cost

Sunday, why not Sunday is Monday, do you know anything about this country? come here and spend money, most shopping malls are open (2 out of 3) some are closed probably due to other reasons
