Hi All, I want to bring my wife on visit visa first then convert to RP. I have a valid RP of Qatar just wanted to know if she has my name in the passport as her husband still i will have to submit marriage certificate as proof of relationship or only passport is enough to get the visa.
For a family visit of 6 months attestation is not required but you need to attach a copy of your marriage certificate. But to transfer it to permanent you only need to attest it from Indian embassy and The minisrty of foreign affairs of Qatar in corniche area. It will Take only 2 days for the procedure. 1 Day for submission in embassy. the other one you will get attested at the same time.
For visit.
Attach your PP copies, Marriage certificate, Salary/No objection letter from company, contract agreement copy and Application (keep the contract orginal with you sometime they will check the original) your post should be any professional clerical or technical. and minimum salary Qrs.4000/-
Attested marriage certificate is a must.first u get a marriage certificate from ur country's relevant authority. then u have to get attestation from ur country's foriegn affairs and Qatar consulate. After that here u go to ur embassy and get attestation from there then go to Expatriate affairs and get attestation.now the end of the procedure, then u can use that marriage certificate to ur wife's visa.It is very easy to get a visit visa for wife. good luck
