Hoping for your kind comments and feedbacks on this,

I am 22y/o currently here in doha, i only went here because my father told me that i am needed here to upgrade my visa to residential, so that i can comeback here anytime i want..

i am hoping only to stay here for 2weeks or so because my wife will give birth with my first child anytime soon this month of july and i really dont wanna miss it =( ..

My question is what are the procedures and steps that are needed to convert my visa to residential and how long will it take to process?
