Visit visa for family

Dear QL Friends,

I came to Doha from India 1 month back in December and recently I received my Residence Permit. I wish to call my family (Wife & 2 kids) to stay with me. I have the following doubts which I need to clarify:

1. Do I need the attestation of my kids birth certificate from India or can I get the same done from the Indian Embassy in Qatar.
2. Can I call my family on Visit Visa and then convert it to Family visa here?
3. What will be the documents required for both.
4. Will not having a 3/6 months bank statement would be an issue?

I would appreciate if someone can help me with his experience.

Thanks.

Hai

i am just same as you

i have clarified about this with an agent

he said Bank statements or can get letter from bank stating your salary transfering to that bank

because its not quit possible to wait for 6 months bank statement to get a family here

and you have to attest your Marriage cerificates / Children Birth certificates in india

Best of luck
