My wife's visit visa (I am the sponsor) will expire on May 07, 2010 so we have to extend it. Tomorow the 4th, she will go for medical. What if the result comes out after the 7th? Are they going to fine us?

please go ahead with the emdical tomorrow as early as you can, they open 7 a.m, if you are able to be there waiting them to open at 6:30 that would be even great, sometimes they release the medical results on the second day (05th may) if you will be lucky, then the second day once you have the results in hand you can visit any Immigration branches and do the renewal for her while you are standing over there.
definitely go for the extension first,
then go for medical.
anyways u need to finish off medical within one month or else there wil b fine.

It's not our original plan to extend. She got a call from a friend that the company she's working at has an opening suitable for her. But the CEO who's going to interview her is abroad and due to come back on the 14th. So the idea of extending it.
why did you have to wait till few days before expiry?you could've done that as early as 2 weeks before expiry.. medical exam results take at least 4 days to come out..
see what happens and then come back and post here.
what where you doing these days......should have extended it atleast a week b4 expiry....
