visit visa extension

1 month visit visa cannot be extended, hence you have to exit and apply for a new visa, AFAIK. The only visit visa that can be extended is the Family Visit (6 months) and Business visit (3 months).

Check with immigration if they will allow you.

I'm not sure if it matters where you're from for the extension process but recently I had mine extended for a month. I gather they only allow you a month of extension for a tourist visa whiel waiting for your Rp to ge through. I think you can do it at the immigration office at the arrival hall at the airport but after office hours you can go to the Airport Security and Passport building located across the street from the airport pass the long term parking lot. From a distance you can see a click billboard and the building is behind that. Go to the visa building ( there are 2 separate buildings inside) If the visa counter is not open just mover over to counter 2 ( travel permit) and they charge QR100 on card only. They will put a sticker on your passport with your info and payment made. I'm not sure what time they close or are they open 24hrs. I was there from 5.00 to 5.30p.m
