my wife is coming on family visit visa from mumbai to doha, is it necessary to book return ticket using the same airlines? or are 2 single way tickets using different carriers allowed? can the return trip be via a different route eg if she wants to visit friends in DXB and then go back to BOM.
will there be any problems in mumbai airport immigrations while departing?

My Friend,

Tickets can be purchased from any airliens irrespective but should be return journey tickets since your fmaily is having family visit visa for Qatar. Routing through Dubai is also allowed provided Dubai visa is obtained.

There should not be any problems as far as one is carrying a valid return ticket.
