Visa Visa Visa

I was offered a job by QAPCO in jun 2007. When company applied for my visa, my name matched with some other person in the computer database of immigration authorities. Now they are delaying my visa. I told them that I never visited Qatar or any country in my life. It is my first time and I got my passport in jun 2007.
Please guide me that what should I do. QAPCO says that they only wait.If anybody can tell me that what type of system is this. There are many persons in the world with same names. I think they should check fingures prints for a person identification. Please guide me that in this situation what Qatri Authorities do or simply they will baned to to come there just because of my name

My partners sister and her husband have just accepted jobs in Qatar as teachers. They are moving over in august. My partner and I would really like to follow them out there and start a new life. We have seen a website with jobs that would suit us both which would include accomodation ect. Can anyone tell me if my partner and i would need to be married before we could move out there? We do want to get married but would have waited a little longer should we not have come accross this opportunity.
