The type of visa of my wife from ministry of interior (qatar) is RESIDENCY VISIT VISA-ONE VISIT. After certification from Qatar embassy (Philippines) thru DHL, it says Type of visa: WORK. DHL said it must be a mistake from qatar embassy and they need to confirm it before submitting again with additional fee. Do you guys experience this error? TIA

Yeah I was not the sponsor on my wife's visa, my company was. We are reapplying with me as the sponsor.

Look at the English version and you should see your name as the sponsor. If its in Arabic, then it might be the company.

Hope you can work it out.

From what I understand as long as it does not say: "WORK RESIDENCE VISA - XID - SPONSOR ONE VISIT 03 MONTH as the visa type, things should be fine with them replacing it pretty easily.

Yes, I had the same problem with my wife's visa 2 weeks ago. Because the visa is a WORK visa. My company is in the process of canceling the WORK visa and getting the correct one issued.
