Hi,

My mom is here on 30 days visit visa and her visa expires on 1.4.2010.

I would like to know if she travels on 3.4.2010, is there any problem in Immigration counter in airport or there any fine for staying here after visa expiry?

Secondly does she need exit permit to return from here?

Pl.advice.

Thanks

As I understand , Medical test is required for renewing ..I dont know exactly medical test required for one week extension or not. Better you renew ...Fine will be 200QR per day ... even it is the problem while you are applying for next visit

200Qr each day for over staying. better yet go in immigration ask for 1 week extension for 50QR. hope it helps,,,

Hardly you will get a grace period of one day, that's depens on the officer, if not you will get a fine (depends on the visa status), better to leave on or before the expiry of visa.

i suggest you extend her visa for one month and pay only minimal processing fee which is lower than the penalty. also, it will not be good on your record if you allow her to overstay.

Check the website www.moi.gov.qa as per my knowledge there is fine for overstaying . she does not require exit permit as she is on your sponsership.
