Visa Profession Downgrading

I am facing different situation. I am working in Qatar since 1998. I hold diploma in Electronics and Instrumentation. I joined an Oil & Gas EPC company in 2008 as E&I Supervisor with a salary of 12k/p.m. That time due to visa quota they have arranged Engineer visa for me. Till now, they have promoted me 2 times and my current designation is Sr. E&I Engineer and my current salary 19K+. Now, MOI rejected my visa extension rejected due to lack of qualification for Engineer category visa. Hence, my company admin told me that we will downgrade your visa to next available category i.e; technician. My current salary package will remain intact. In this case; I have following queries.

1.My family is with me here on RP status under my sponsorship. Will this profession degrade will affect the family visa extension in future?
2.I am expecting my second baby in July. Will it be a problem during the visa processing?
3.When downgrading the visa profession, there will be conflict with my employment contract designation. This will create any problem in MOI?

Please friends, can you share your views and experience in this regards?
