visa problem, please help
Hi I would like to ask regarding my visa,
My RP is set to expire on May 2010, But my mandoob showed me my Passport that My visa is cancelled this January, and now he wants me to exit and go bharain and comeback the same day to qatar wth business visa.He told me that He will give me my NOC before I exit.Then he will change the business visa to working visa again.Im so confused, Is there any possible way to know the status of my VIsa? why it is cancelled? and if he will transfer me to another sponsor, Do i really need to exit qatar? I saw my passport and it was stamped cancelled, Do i really nedd to exit qatar before he can transfer me even I have the NOC???
please help...
May be this is a cheating,because here some companies are doing like this.
If they are canceling u they want to settle ur gratuity(minimum three weeks salary per year).May be this is a trick to escape from it.
U go to ur embassy and ask help, then they will call to ur mandoop.if ur company's way is not correct u can file a complaint to the labour departementthrough ur embassy,then atleast u will get ur gratuity or u can negotiate and ask for NOC.NOC is at the discretion of the employer.
If u are exited from qatar u can't claim anything towards ur employer.its the end.if u have doubt on this immediately contact with ur embassy.

My situation is like this,
I have my Pataca or RP it will expire on may 2010.My passport is wth my mandoub.The visa in the passport is the same as the pataca right?? My mandoub showed my my passport and It was stamped cancelled.He didi not tell me why it is cancelled.I would like to ask, How will I know the reason why it was cancelled.where I can find out why it was cancelled.Since my passport was stamped cancelled in the visa portion (like pataca), He told me I need to go exit qatar even I have an NOC.Go baharain and comeback but with business visa.and after that they will transfer me to another sponsor to have RP again.Need for an exit beacause it was cancelled already, But if not yet cancelled, I will not go exit, is that true??? I really dont know the reason why It was cancelled.Now Im waiting for him to give me my NOC and ticket to go bharain and comeback.is that posible?please help...After Itw as stamped cancelled. do you have any idea how long will I be valid to saty in qatar??
If it is stamped as cancelled then irrespective of the visa expiry date you need to exit at the earliest. Else you will be fined for overstaying. And mind it this is illegal to stay like that. God Bless YOU
First of all, why does he “show” you your> passport? Passport should be held with the employee, not with mandoob (i.e. Company). It is a violation of the latest Qatari law.
Second, it is not clear which “VISA” was cancelled since your RP is still valid? What Visa status are you talking about? Do you mean Work Visa? Now it is not clear why it was cancelled and what are intentions of your sponsor. If he wants to issue a Business visa for you (but WHY he wants to do it??) , yes you have to exit Qatar. If it’s transfer of sponsorship, no need to exit.
Clarify your situation, hopefully we will be able to give you better advice.
