Visa for Pakistani nationals
Dear friends,
I am working in saudi arabia. As my sponsor has opened new company in qatar and wants me to work with him @ Doha. So the option for me is to go on final exit and come to qatar. But what he is saying is that Qatar govt. has banned visas for pakistani nationals. Could you guys kindly advise me how to work out and find a solution for this siutation. as he is saying that since visas are abonded for pakistani so i find one on my self and then he pays.
i will be awaiting quick response.

Only selected companies maybe like QP etc, have approval for Pakistani visas. For most small private companies it is quite difficult, but not impossible. I know a small company, who has a prominent Qatari sponsor, they also found it difficult to hire a Pakistani. But the Qatari persisted and made quite a few visits to ministry of Labour, appeared at the Lajna panel, etc and finally they got the approval. Tell your sponsor to make a few rounds to MOL, hopefully you will get the approval. But make sure you can come b4 you quit ur current job.

Yes I agree with all comments as I have recently reached Qatar joined a power company as an Engineer. Along with me they have hired forty pakistanis from all over Pakistan.So for Pakistanis no ban on Visa.Imran
ask your employer to work on it if he is starting a buss. here so he can get..let him try..its difficult but not impossible dear..
My cousin got a visa to Qatar last week. He will be joining a local bank in qatar. He is from Pakistan. I think visas for Pakistanis are hard to get but not impossible.

Visa's for Pakistani's are not Banned but its Difficult to get one, Like Govt Organizations are hiring Pakistani's For EG. QP, QA, etc.....May be the company you are suppose to work, does not have Pakistani Visas, and buying a visa is Illegal until allotted by the Immigration...
