Visa for Newborn

Dear QL Friends !

I want to get my Wife and New born Child of less than 3 months age to Qatar under my sponsorship. Do I need to get Visa for the Newborn or he is allowed to enter Qatar on Mother's Visa.

I heard that on airport for On-arrival visa 100 QRS is charged and Newborn of less than 3 months old is allowed to enter Qatar. Is it True?

How feasible it is to get the Newborn on mothers Visa if at all we get on arrival visa for newborns on airport.

Please let me know incase any of you got the answer confidently because its the matter of newborn baby.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Doc

Hi Doc,

Most of the people says, visa is not required for the new borns (if the baby is below 3 months).

I have also gone through this situation. What I would suggest you is, take the visa for both to avoid hassles.

It would cost you 400/- QAR for both.

> 200/- QAR for spouse visa

> 200/- QAR for kid visa

Regards,

Mohammed

HMS is right...and it would be ok as well if you'll ask it directly to the concerned person regarding visa formalities... (Immigration, airport Immigration office)

Hope this helps! Best of luck!
