Visa for New Born

Dear Friends,

My wife delivered in India and we intend to bring the baby to Qatar. My wife has a valid RP in qatar and is sponsored by me. I am aware that a new born can enter Qatar within 90 days of birth without any visa as it will be provided on arrival at the airport. I am also aware that the following documents need to be carried:
1. Original Birth Certificate
2. Valid Passport for the baby
3. Photocopy of Fathers passport.

I have now been informed that the Birth Certificate should be attested by (both) the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in India and the Qatar Embassy in India.

I request you to clarify as the MOFA website does not mention anything on attestation.

I request the parents who have recently brought their new-born to share their experience.

Thank You

The documents u have is enough for bringing your child. But should be before 3 months. I brought my child last month with the above said docs.

Habib, no need of any attestation from any of the authorities, i brought my son last year without any attestations, however please reconfirm with the concerned authorities as formalities are changing day by day.
