hi there,
please help me for i am confused with the visa stamped on my passport and the notice vise send to me by my employer.

the notice visa has the following information:

Type of Visa = Work Visa - One Visit
Purpose of Visa = Visit
Duration of Residence = 5 years

but the stamped visa on my passport has these:

Type of Visa = Work
Duration of Stay = 3 months

My question is, will i be having a problem considering my contract is 1 year? and if ever, can my visa be renew when i'm already working in Qatar?

Please advise.. Looking forward for your helpful tips and suggestions. Thanks!

you can ask your HR/Admin about this and he will explain it to you. Usually new employees have this 3 months work visa stamped in their passport while the Admin is processing the residence permit as per Qatarisun explained it. Don't worry too much, if the company is good, all will go smoothly.

you have to finalize your Residence permit within these 3 months. If your RP isn't issued yet upon completion of 3 months period from date of entry, your work visa will be expired.

push your employer to fit this timeframe.. although the RP can be finalized within 1 week, some companies keep postponing this issue..

.. once your RP is issued, it's valid for 5 years stay in total. But first, your RP will be issued only for 1-2 years, and then renewed every year. Once 5 years are expired, you will have to "renew" your Work visa.

Long story short, don't worry.. everything is all right. Just make sure your RP is issued on time..
