I was thankful many good infos regarding bringing elderly to Doha for a visit. I am trying to bring my mom, she is 66 yrs old from Malaysia for 2 month visit (ideally..).

- I got a office mate that wanting to bring his 70 y.o mom and MoI said the only way is for any 5-star hotel granted her the visa, ie. she must stay at that 5-star hotel for the days she is here.. That is not right deal to make..

The worst case for me is 28 days visit for her, but she is above 60 y.o.. so I am hoping there will be a resolution on this one..

If anyone got any new infos, kindly email to [email protected]. I will post my results of application here soon!

They can come if they are holding European or American Passports. For Asians big NO. I don't know why the restriction is there for.

Why the restriction for been older than 60 years ? Does it means that, if someone is over 60 years they can not enter to visit relatives ?

Your sponcer can give her a Business Visa. She must not be older than 60 years. I am not sure about the period of stay but it is a short stay for sure.

No restriction on leaving Qatar as you wish but you need an exit permit from your sponcer.
