As per the immigration rules in Qatar, if you bring your baby to Qatar before he is three months old, you don't have to apply for Visa, instead they will stamp the entry on arrival at the airport and later on you can proceed with the formalities for stamping resident permit (I have read or heard somewhere that as per the new immigration rules (effective april/May 2009)the children can enter Qatar without a Visa till the baby is two years old, provided the parents have resident permit in Qatar, I am not sure about this, but its better to check with the Immigration dept. through your PRO if it is correct)
